Sujatha Ganesan is the founder of TechBiz Legal, a technology, and business law firm and is an accomplished startup and corporate lawyer. Sujatha is a U.S and India educated attorney at Law, licensed to practice both in California & India. She has 10 plus years of experience of practicing business law with technology companies, law firms and having an independent practice both in Silicon Valley and India. Sujatha is a mentor at the Founder Institute (FI) http://fi.co/, the world’s premier idea-stage Accelerator, and Startup launch program. She mentors young entrepreneurs through the various stages of Ideation and Customer development, Company and Team formation, Go-to-Market, bootstrapping and Fund Raising.
She was the co-chair of the Program Committee at the CLUB- an incubator for women leaders in Silicon Valley. She started her legal career practicing with King & Partridge a prestigious law firm and the High Court of Madras, India. She has published several articles in leading legal publications. She worked as a legal fellow and author for a project titled “Knowledge Base Law” http://www.kb-law.info conducted by the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration’s Intellectual Property department in Vienna, Austria, where she worked with copyright and Internet law issues.
Sujatha is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, and Telugu. Sujatha relates to each client on an individual basis and strives to form lasting relationships. She practices yoga, sudarshan kriya, cooks vegetarian food and loves mixed martial arts.
